How much is delivery?
If you spend £30 or more you will receive free delivery (UK MAINLAND ONLY). 

How long can I keep a pack of ham once open?
We recommend that packs are consumed within three days after opening and always before the use by date. You will usually find our products have lots of shelf life when they are delivered.

Can I freeze your products?
We know lots of people who do, and enjoy our products all the more because of the flexibility this provides. We would point out that we don’t design the products to be frozen. Many of the products we make and sell contain some salt as a preservative. Sometimes on defrosting, salt crystals appear on the surface of the meat. It has no adverse effect on the quality of the product.

Do you make bespoke hampers or boxes?
Absolutely! Just email or call with your preference or just give us an idea of the kind of things you like and we will do the rest! We will always let you know before we send anything, what we have selected and how much it will cost.

Have your products been frozen before?
We don’t sell anything that has been frozen before. If we were to sell any previously frozen items, the product would be obviously labelled with lots of information about when it had been frozen and how long it will last when defrosted.

If I order from you when will I get my order?
Typically you will receive your order the following day IF you order before noon. Otherwise, you will receive it the day after. The only exception is if you order on a Friday or at the weekend. Our distributor doesn’t deliver at the weekend, so if you order on Friday or at the weekend, your order will be delivered on Tuesday. We select your products fresh on Monday morning for this.

What happens if I’m not in when the product is delivered?
To avoid this, we ask for your mobile phone number when you order. Then the delivery driver will text you 90 minutes before delivery, so that you can be there to receive it. However, we understand that sometimes you just can’t be there. If this happens, the delivery driver will try to leave the product with a neighbour or in a safe place of your choosing. if either of these options are not available, the driver will return the order back to the depot to redeliver the following day.

Are all your products ready to eat?
There are one or two items (chorizo sausages for example) that should be cooked before eating. Most of the products we sell are ready to eat. If you are not sure please ask us  - email or phone info@deli-charcuterie.co.uk 01634 861749
